Therapy Center of Buda is a pediatric, family-centered speech-language and occupational therapy clinic. We are a family, local, and an SLP owned facility. We provide personalized, neuro-affirming, and trauma-informed therapy programs that are non-diagnosis driven to individuals ages 0-21 years. On occasion there are special exceptions granted for older clients (up to 25 years of age).
Free consultations are provided over the phone with the Clinic Director and typically last 10-15 minutes. These are extended conversations to see if an evaluation at our facility is appropriate and needed for you or or your loved one. Evaluations are not time based, meaning we evaluate until we feel confident that we have all relevant information to provide therapy and supports that are based on the individual’s needs. We aim to work to the client’s strengths to ensure their success. They are conducted face-to-face and our clinicians employ a variety of standardized, non-standardized, and criterion referenced protocols; depending on the needs of the client. Caregivers remain with their children during evaluations to ensure all areas of concern are addressed and recommendations are most appropriate.
Parents/Legal Guardians are provided reports after the formal evaluation and results/recommendations are discussed in order to ensure a team approach to therapy. All treatment sessions offer one-on-one interactions with a licensed therapist in a private office to ensure most optimal outcomes and HIPAA compliance. Family involvement is strongly encouraged and carry-over activities are provided on a regular basis to ensure generalization of therapeutic progress.
Amy Grant, MS, CCC-SLP, our Clinic director and lead SLP has received extensive training in the administration of The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule- Second Edition (ADOS-2) testing and the Gilliam Autism Rating Scale-2 for formal identification (or the ruling out) of Autism. She provides comprehensive evaluations to offer supporting documentation and assistance in accessing community supports.
TCOB proudly is a founding practice of the Therapist Neurodiversity Collective.
